School hours are from 8:15 a.m. to 3:03 p.m. Students should not arrive before 8:05 a.m.
The office will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

After hours voicemail is available to assist parents and guardians who want to leave messages for staff.
Attendance and Absences
Attendance Number: 994-1989
All absences from school must be called in to the Attendance number by a parent or guardian at 994-1989 by 8:00 a.m.
When calling, please leave your name, student’s name, date, time of day and the reason for being absent. If the Attendance Office does not receive a call regarding a student’s absence, a verification phone call will be made by the Attendance Secretary. For absences longer than two days you may call the Attendance Secretary and request homework assignments.
Forsythe Facts
We are located at 1655 Newport Road, Ann Arbor MI 48103.
The school was established in 1960.
The Forsythe Mascot is a Viking.
Our colors are Red and White.
Forsythe’s Feeder Elementary Schools are Abbot, Bach, Haisley, Lakewood and Wines.
Most Forsythe students move to Skyline High School after 8th grade.
Students may also elect to go to high school at A2 Virtual, Community, Huron, Pioneer or Pathways.
